Meet the breeder

I'm Kim B., the breeder behind Flying K Corgis located in Anderson, CA. We breed high-quality puppies from health tested and well tempered and conformed parents. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs for great families. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers and make every decision thoughtfully and intentionally.

Q. & A. with Kim

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed. I worked for a corgi breeder as a teen and always wanted to produce great dogs. I didn’t think that I could do my corgis justice breeding while I worked as a Phlebotomist, but once I had my girls, I decided that it was my time to shine. I had much more at home time to be able to give to these pups. Flying K Corgis was born!
  • What makes your program special?

We keep ourselves small enough to be able to have our breeding dogs live a good life and give the pups every chance we can to have a successful life as a family pet. Our dogs live inside and have a spacious back yard and hardly ever spend time in a kennel. This truly sets us apart from most breeders, big and small. We are dedicated to improving our program with every decision we make.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, blue, white and red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Kim

Kim has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kim partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We like to have lengthy conversations with our puppy families about what they are after when purchasing a puppy. We tend to try to match up our people with specific litters that have parents that we believe will produce what they are wanting. Often, our pups are reserved shortly after birth with a couple sometimes available after going through our waitlist. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“These prices do not include papers/breeding rights. These will be discussed on a case by case basis. We believe it is irresponsible to give everyone breeding rights. We call it our ‘puppy reservation fee’ and it is a non refundable fee for reserving a pup.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kim may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kim offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Kim directly.

All contracts are handled securely through Good Dog.

Kim our puppy’s breeder was wonderful from start to finish. She had excellent communication throughout the entire process and regularly sent us pictures and updates, which made us feel connected to our puppy before we brought her home. She kept us informed about how our puppy was growing, eating, and reaching important milestones while preparing her for pickup. We are so grateful for her dedication and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a happy and adorable corgi!
