I'm Paco, the breeder behind Folklore Den located in Sellersville, PA. We are dog lovers who are dedicated to preserving the purebred dog. We strive to enrich and love every dog in our program. We hope that our puppies bring as much joy into their new families’ lives as they do ours!
Q. & A. with Paco
Why did you start breeding?
My grandfather and father were both heavily involved in the dog show world and started breeding in 1975. They primarily raised and bred German Shorthaired Pointers and English Cocker Spaniels. I grew an interest in dogs at a very young age and even spent many summer traveling around to dog shows with my grandfather.
What makes your program special?
My wife and I have worked in the veterinary field for almost 20 years so we are very well rounded when it comes to proper vet care as well as enrichment/socialization. We put our blood, sweat and tears into raising our puppies and dogs. Even our children have formed strong bonds with many of our dogs and help enrich our litters.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our French Bulldog puppies include brindle, cream, fawn, and brindle and white. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
