Meet the breeder

I'm April R., the breeder behind Foothills Family Doodles located in Ball Ground, GA. We offer top-quality pets with a focus on health and temperament. Our dogs are our pride and joy and we adore them all! We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets. Our early start of potty training, crate training, grooming, & social & sound desensitization makes going to their forever homes a much easier transition for both the puppies and families.

Q. & A. with April

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding because I love the Bernedoodle breed & enjoy raising puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

I raise my puppies like family. I take pride in each & every one. From the time they are born, they are raised in my livingroom & once potty training is getting established, then transitioned into their own building with outdoor play run. They begin potty training in pellet boxes & when weather allows have free range to go outdoors & potty. This makes the transition to their new homes easier on the new families. They are also started on crate training & sound desensitization.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
