I'm Kiara M., the breeder behind Forbidden Fruits Kennels located in Rochester, NY. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! The health, conformation, and temperament of our dogs are our main priority. We’re confident in the pups we raise and pick their forever families with careful attention.
Q. & A. with Kiara
Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding because of my husbands passion for the breed from a very young age. We researched and learned about the breed for years before we felt we were ready enough to take the next step and purchase our first Cane Corso. We’ve always been a “big dog” family but fell in love with the athleticism that this breed has to offer!
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because it’s for the love of the breed. We strive for quality above quantity and want to extend that to the entire world. We want to preserve the mesmerizing look of Cane Corso’s and share that with everyone possible. Our kennel is name “Forbidden Fruits” because we feel this breed is just that and want to allow the community to experience their greatness.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tori, mom
Cane Corso
About Tori
Tori is one of our our productions from August 2022. We decided to keep her in our program because she displayed a stable temperament, good structure, and carries a beautifully articulated pedigree. Tori comes from a dam & sire that have been genetically tested and cleared for breeding, she has multiple CH & GRCH in her bloodlines as well. She shows incredible length and height for a female, as well as a good foundation head. She is the goofiest, most loving female and I’m glad she is our top pick female. I cannot wait to see what she brings to the table.
Dior, dad
Cane Corso
About Dior
Dior has an impeccable temperament with a very robust, chiseled head. He is a replica of his sire who is in Russia. Diors pedigree is filled with champions on both sides. Dior is a Russian import here to make an impact on every litter produced.

I was a little skeptical buying a puppy online, but from the start I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We were sent photos and videos every few days, communication was open, all fears were put to rest. Just an amazing experience and so so happy with our new baby, he’s so much fun! I’d would absolutely without question go to this breeder again for another Corso. Thank you so much!!
