I'm Stephen M., the breeder behind Forest Cove Tollers located in Cove, OR. We strive to produce pups that have excellent temperament, health, working ability, and beauty. We truly love our dogs and what we do. Our own Tollers and puppies from our past litters have excelled in a variety of venues including Agility, Rally, Obedience, Lure Coursing, Conformation, Therapy, and of course, Water Fowl Hunting and Upland Bird Hunting!

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to see this breed continue to thrive. We are committed breeders who strive to produce Tollers that have excellent temperament, good health, working ability, and beauty to maintain the standard for the breed.
What makes your program special?
We are dedicated to continuing our phenomenal bloodlines in an effort to provide our Toller families with loving, healthy, and happy puppies. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors. We pride ourselves on helping all of our adopting families find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Stephen
Stephen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $3,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes their first set of shots, temperament and health guarantees, microchipped and veterinary exam before they go to their new homes. When you are a accepted to our wait list, we require a
$500 deposit. Deposit is credited toward the purchase price. The deposit is nonrefundable unless we cannot provide you with a puppy. Balance is due at pickup.”

health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Temperament Test, Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
