I'm Syndi H., the breeder behind Forest Creek Kennel located in Waynesboro, VA. Here at Forest Creek Kennel LLC, my first goal is health, with temperament being a close second. We strive to breed the healthiest, calmest, well mannered, easy to train puppy you have ever owned. This starts with high quality tested parents, not only tested for health but temperament as well.
Q. & A. with Syndi
Why did you start breeding?
Well I started with cockapoos. I had just 2 Midnight and Noah. My first litter I was so excited. At that time you put adds in the paper to find puppies homes. I enjoyed my first litter so much, and bringing happiness to children and families, I kept adding.
Now I breed cockapoos, Goldendoodles, comfort doodles, and cavapoos.
What makes your program special?
I believe it all starts with healthy well tempered parents. I do DNA testing and have my vet clear Heart, Eyes, Hips, and Patella’s. I do not breed my girls until 2 years of age, and only allow 1 litter per year per female. All puppies are born in my house, and raised, being well socialized, and introduced to many sounds, smells, and other pets.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Cockapoo puppies are standard size. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cockapoo puppies include merle, brown and tan, red, sable, buff, brown, brown and white, black white and tan, and black and tan. Goldendoodle puppies include sable, cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
