Meet the breeder

I'm Rex and Zoe W., the breeder behind Forever Your Puppies located in Walnut Grove, MO. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable English Golden Retriever puppies and connect loving families with their new best friends! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes.

Q. & A. with Rex and Zoe

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was raised taking care of animals on my family's ranch. As a breeder since 2003, I have enjoyed seeing the puppies grow and develop their own personalities and eventually join new loving families. My wife and I have chosen to focus on what is known in the U.S. as the "English" or "European goldens," a.k.a. "English creams." Simply, these are golden retrievers with very recent lines from Europe.
  • What makes your program special?

We live on a 400 acre farm, giving lots of space for our dogs and puppies to run, play and go on walks. We make sure to do Early Neurological Stimulation exercises with each of our puppies on days 3 through 16 of their life. It activates the puppy's neurological system early on to improve resistance to stress and disease and improve performance of the cardiovascular system and adrenal glands. We have also done extensive research to provide high quality nutrition and supplementation for our parents and puppies. These supplements from Revival Animal Health and Nuvet Labs strengthen overall health, bone and joint health, gut health and their reproductive system. Mom and puppies also continuously receive a coccidiosis preventative supplement with their food before and after whelping.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Rex was very helpful and timely on getting back to us. Rex was very patient and made sure we understood how this would all work, from the flight to him checking to make sure our new pup(Charlie) was in hand! Thanks Rex!

We brought our Blaze on 2nd Jan. he is really a bundle of joy. Rex is his breeder. Our experience with Rex Wilkins is really a great. He is very very cooperative. He arranged video calls to choose a puppy. After booking he arranged video calls for every week according to our convenient time. There is no any sign of hurry to wind up the video call from him. He spends time how much we wanted to see Blaze. Right from his health reports to the transportation his everything is very well arranged. He sends all required documents along with Blaze. We are really very happy with Rex’s services. Highly recommend Rex if anyone looking for a puppy
