Dindy W.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Dindy W., the breeder behind Fox Ridge English Golden Retrievers located in Hawkeye, IA. We are a small hobby breeder dedicated to producing a true English Golden Retriever temperament that is gentle, loving and loyal. We only have a couple of females and a male so we can give them the attention they need. It’s a hobby that we enjoy. We breed for health, temperament, conformation, and beauty in our dogs.

Q. & A. with Dindy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We had an English Golden Retriever cross years ago and fell in love with the breed. Raising puppies is something I’ve wanted to do for years.
  • What makes your program special?

Our goal is to breed only the best. We are striving for genetically clear puppies coming from parents that have outstanding PennHip scores and pass all health testing. We feel that the parents health is such an important part of purchasing one of our puppies.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
