I'm Susan S., the breeder behind Foxboro Farm located in Howell, MI. We have dogs that excel in all disciplines, showing, obedience, agility therapy and yes, we have a few that hunt! Truly they are best at being a beloved family companions.We take responsible breeding very seriously, We make sure each puppy gets the best care and socialization. We excel at making your best friend!

Why did you start breeding?
Susan started breeding and showing Golden Retrievers in the 80’s. My first Golden was a Best in Show winner. In the 90’s my daughter was given a Springer puppy and she changed our world! We love Springers and are passionate about breeding beautiful, healthy, and sound-of-mind dogs. Melissa Thorson joined the team 12 years ago and is an integral contributor to training, showing, and raising puppies.What makes your program special?
We believe in breeding to the English Springer Spaniel standard. While we are very active in showing dogs and have bred 60-plus champions, our goal is to breed healthy, beautiful, and sane pets! Foxboro dogs are active in obedience, agility, therapy, and hunting (I don’t promise they hunt. I’ve been proved wrong!) We stand by every dog that is produced here and offer lifetime breeder support.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Susan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“It is a non refundable deposit of 200.00 that applied towards the purchase price. It is refundable in the event we don’t have a puppy for you.”
Contract & health guarantee
Susan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
