I'm Jody H., the breeder behind Frenchie Tempest located in Lakewood, WA. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My mom used to breed Boston Terriers. I got my stud (Shadow) almost 4 years ago, and I got my female about two years ago. They naturally got pregnant. I just love these dogs so much . My two frenchies are family. They go pretty much everywhere with me. They sleep with my daughter on her king size bed. We didn't think they could get pregnant naturally, because that's what everyone was telling me. Low and behold husband and I are at work all the way in Seattle and my daughter calls and and said they did it! I really couldn't believe it. It was unexpected, but we are extremely happy to have these puppies.
What makes your program special?
We are just a laid back family who love French Bulldogs. ❤️
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, black, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jody

Jody has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price is 3,500 We require a 1,000 deposit to hold your dog and love them until its time to go home. ♡♡♡. We require a deposit because it insures you will stick to your word and get a puppy. If you were to back out of the deal at the last min it would make it hard for us to restart the process of finding a new home."

Contract & health guarantee

Jody may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Spine (OFA, FCI)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
