I'm Kathleen T., the breeder behind Frenchiebred located in Fredericksburg, TX. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy. The goal I set and which I believe is still the most important, to produce healthy puppies that make well-rounded pets and with good character in an adult dog. I put the quality in cute!
Q. & A. with Kathleen
Why did you start breeding?
I'm a dog person and dog lover. My best friend has always been my dog, all my life it was a natural fit. I have a safe, loving home, and I want to keep my favorite breed healthy and cared for. I see a lot of bad breeders and I won't ever be one of them.
What makes your program special?
I think the absolute coolest thing about our puppies is that they are in sync with life among humans. A person is going to be so thrilled that they prefer to go potty outside, use a doggie door, are trained to sit at 7 weeks old. They are surrounded by people and both of their parents, sleep through the night, sleep in crates, go on walks and play outside a lot in their fenced yard.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
