I can’t believe this litter is 8 weeks old! 3 of the Loki/Gouda puppies are off on their new adventures. Angel Food Cake will be a detection dog and Apple Pie and All Purpose Flour are doing PSA. I have one male available for a Malinois experienced home who wants to do IPO/SAR/detection/agility or other sports!

Loki and Gouda's litter

Peyton
I have one more puppy available from my Loki x Gouda litter. They are just over 7 weeks and will be ready to go home on the 17th. Animal Cracker was stepped on by mom at 3 weeks and broke her hind leg. Our vet doesn’t expect any long term issues but I’m not comfortable placing her in a home that wants to do high impact sports. She is microchipped and has received her first distemper/parvo. I will be making another vet appointment next week to check in again about her leg but it was a minor fracture that shouldn’t have any growth plate involvement. She would be great at scentwork, AKC tracking, rally with no or minimal jumps, or lowkey personal protection as a leg dog but is not suitable for bite sports, agility or any high impact activity. She could potentially be happy as an active pet but she is a Malinois and I’d love to see her doing something. Not a conformation prospect. Both parents are both OFA CHIC and embarked, litter was raised with ENS. She has been on car rides, exposed to multiple new environments and gunfire, is great for dremel, dryer and baths, started crate training and is pretty clean and will be easy to house train. She has moderate food drive, good possession, good environmentals and is very social. She should be a fairly easy dog for a Malinois and is more moderate, definitely not over the top or psycho. She is not free.

Babies are 3.5 weeks old and went outside for the first time! I am taking one more deposit for this litter, preferably someone who is looking for a competition or working dog and flexible on gender.

Loki and Gouda's litter

Peyton
Gouda’s puppies are 2 weeks old tomorrow! Everyone is fat and happy, and most puppies have their eyes open. I still have 2 females and one flexible on gender spot for working, sport or competition homes. These are working line Malinois and are not appropriate service dogs or therapy dogs.

Loki and Gouda's litter

Peyton
Gouda has 9 wonderful puppies! 7 girls and 2 boys. I still have 2 females available and one flexible on gender. Puppies will be matched with their homes between 7 and 8 weeks old.

Loki and Gouda's litter

Peyton
We were expecting 4-6 puppies based on her ultrasound. Gouda is not having 6 puppies. She’s not even having 8. She’s having 11, maybe 12. So, I’m taking a few more applications for this litter! Due April 23rd. Also accepting donations of caffeine in any form 😂

Loki and Gouda's litter

Peyton
Gouda is confirmed pregnant, and expecting 4-6 puppies! I am taking one more deposit on this litter until puppies are born and I know exactly how many I have.

Loki and Gouda's litter

Peyton
Gouda has been bred to Loki! Puppies should be due April 24th, and we’re doing an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy around March 12th. I’ll start taking deposits once I know she’s pregnant. Please reach out if you’re interested in a puppy from this litter- I’m still taking applications!

Peyton
Gouda is in season! We’re getting ready for her to be bred to Loki and she has an appointment for her first progesterone test on Valentine’s Day! I still have several spots open on my waitlist for working or sport homes.

About Gouda
Gouda is what I see as the ideal Malinois. She has high drive but isn't over the top, and has a solid off switch and is easy to live with. She brings a balance that is rare to the breed. Her prey, food and hunt drive are phenomenal. Gouda will work for just about anything, whether it’s a ball, tug, food, or praise. She's fast and agile at 55 pounds. Gouda is a one person dog, bonding closely with her handler but is incredibly social with strangers. She is social with most other dogs, but remains neutral unless given a command to interact. She's environmentally stable and can handle virtually any new situation with confidence. When working, Gouda is calm, clearheaded, and committed. She has a nice balance of prey and defense in protection. She is possessive with others, but not her handler. Gouda is very easy to teach and picks up on things quickly. Gouda excels in PSA, herding and detection, but enjoys tracking, barn hunt, agility, conformation, and being a couch dog. Gouda has been worked on poultry, sheep, goats and cattle in both a training setting and ranch work. Gouda is a UKC conformation champion, and has a group win from the one time shown in the champion class. Gouda has a clear embark panel, normal eyes, full dentition with a scissors bite, normal cardiac results, good hips and normal elbows.
