Why did you start breeding?
Both my wife and my parents bred dogs growing up. I fell in love with Springers when I was stationed in WA. A friend had one and I decided that I wanted to get one! I began to research more about Springers and shortly after moving to the east coast I picked up Axel.What makes your program special?
Whether you end up with a Springer puppy from myself or anyone else I am here to answer your questions and be of assistance to you. At the end of the day I just want people to have a Springer in their lives. All new owners have been thoroughly impressed and had an awesome experience with Frosty Springers, from Q&A, the process, p/u and intro, and continued communication.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Chris has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Chris partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Winnie will be 4 years old on Dec 7th! This will be her 3rd litter. She was paired with Axel for her first 2 litters and will either be paired with Axel again or with Scout. Winnie has her CAER certificate, OFA certifications, and DNA panel. She is very sweet and enjoys snuggles!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
