Meet the breeder

I'm Jeremy W., the breeder behind Fruition Farms located in Gainesville, FL. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy, and happy family pets. We consider ourselves breed ambassadors and strive to improve the breed by continuously breeding according to the AKC breed standard. We breed specifically for conformation show dogs, but this breed is very versatile and has many capabilities. Breeding and showing the Miniature American Shepherd is a dream come to FRUITION for us. If it is a dream for you to own a Miniature American Shepherd, we look forward to making this a reality for you as well.

Q. & A. with Jeremy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I pursued my interests in showing dogs and reached out to a local breeder. We established a mentoring relationship and friendship around the dogs. I purchased my first show dog from her. Under her guidance as well as other successful breeders and competitors; we will be breeding our dogs to produce wonderful quality show dogs and family companions. Our goal is continually and collaboratively improve the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

The Miniature American Shepherd is a relatively young breed, only being AKC recognized since 2015. I will do my part to always breed to the breed standard for the betterment and improvement of the breed. I am a big believer in paying it forward. A percentage of all our puppy purchases will go to the local humane society or other local charity.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
