Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to share our amazing experience with this breed with others. To give families a well bred healthy and well rounded family member.
What makes your program special?
We raise our pups as a cohesive part of our family from day one to ensure that they’ll make the best and most versatile companions to your family! We train on potty, desensitizing, socialization, bonding, and aptitude, just to name a few. We work with our clients and their pups from the moment they are chosen as a part of your family so that when it’s time to transition, it will be smooth
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and white, red and white, gray and white, black tan and white, black and white, agouti and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

I recently got my husky puppy, Nova, from Michelle at Funky Farm and the entire experience was exceptional!
Michelle and her team excel in communication, keeping me well-informed with frequent updates and photos, making me feel connected to Nova even before bringing her home.
Nova is incredibly sweet and gentle, a trait I attribute to the nurturing environment at Funky Farm. After thorough research, I'm convinced that Michelle and her team raise some of the best huskies around. Their genuine care and dedication shine through in every aspect, ensuring that each puppy is well-loved and beautifully cared for.

When my husband and I were on the search for our new furry best friend, we were hesitant to use a breeder at first. We had heard so many stories about scams and what not… but upon the first couple of minutes talking with Michelle all worry and doubt left my mind. She was so polite, so informative and so positive. My new baby Rohan I’ve known since he was about 3 weeks old. We bonded instantly. Michelle tries to form a bond with pup and owner (locally or over FaceTime) to help with a smooth transition home, I visited Rohan as much as I could and over time he would run up to me like he knew me, and that made taking him home so much easier. She is such an amazing individual and you can see the positive and loving influence she has on both her puppies, her other fluffy babies and with people. She had made this experience the best and I don’t think anyone can top it. Thank you Michelle for giving my husband Aiden and I our forever best friend ❤️

Our family couldn’t have imagined a better experience from Michelle at Funky Farms. Starting with the amazing room specially designed for husky babies and their growth, to meeting her 13 Huskys. I’ve adopted pets before and this was next level plus. You can really tell Michelle is very passionate about Huskys and ensuring they have the best care prior to adoption. After meeting Michelle and our Funky Farm Husky Milo formerly known as Gable, Michelle communicated expertly on the process. She also sent many photos and videos each day on Milo’s development. That alone was an amazing experience for my family. Due to a busy schedule Michelle offered to deliver Milo to our home which was very much appreciated. Michelle creates a three ring binder with dividers from vet visits, Milo growth charts and much more helpful information. We are so happy we are part of the Funky Farm family.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
