I'm Cheryl P., the breeder behind Fur & Feathers Kennel located in Craig, NE. My Springer's are bred mainly for field trials, but they also make awesome family members and would make great dock diving, agility, weekend hunters. They are bred to have the natural abilities to hunt and easy to train. Future customers will love to own one my pups once they come and meet them!

Why did you start breeding?
I first started off with one Labrador Retriever female for a few years, and when I went on my own I purchased a German Shorthair Pointer.
What makes your program special?
I love working with the puppies! I enjoy watching them grow from day one to the time they find their new homes! My customers keep me updated on the progress of their pups which is very enjoyable to hear!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver white and tan, liver and white, black white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Cheryl

Cheryl has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Cheryl partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the AKC registration application, first puppy vaccination and deworming, vet visit at 7 weeks old. My puppies are sold with either limited AKC registration or full AKC registration, price will reflect this. Registration and microchip included.”

Puppies are now 4 weeks old and they are going outside more on their own ‼️❤️ Yea!! They also are eating softened food and loving it!! Yummy 😋 They are really showing their personalities and I'm loving how they are turning out!! There are still 2 boys available Henry and Sam.

About Fancy
Fancy is a daughter of my field trial dog Sho-Me The Money aka Oliver. Fancy is a very outgoing and easy to get along with. As a young pup, I started her on birds to see how she would like to hunt, and man she did!! I don't hunt my female's, but I do start them to see their natural abilities come out. Fancy is a natural retriever and has a strong nose on her!! Her puppies should inherit this trait. She is also a full sister to Sho-Me Reverence's Lady Liberty aka Lil Dot. You won't go wrong with Fancy's puppies. Breeding will take place in August and the puppies would be due in October and ready for new homes in December.

About Oliver
Oliver is the son of NFC FC Lighthouse Reverence, grandson of NFC AFC KB's Sir Coach, and great grandson of NFC FC AFC Sunrise Zinger. Oliver has an outstanding pedigree which is not easy to find these outstanding dogs so close up!! Breeding back to the old bloodlines brings back the good old dogs and preserves the bloodlines!! Oliver is DNA tested clear for PRA,PFK, OFA's done, hips excellent and elbows normal. Oliver has big shoes to fill, and having sired 4 litters he has already proven through his puppies how awesome they are to train and be great hunters and family companions ‼️❤️ Oliver himself is running field trials, and the old saying you can't teach an old dogs new tricks well, it went out the window when Oliver was started training for field trialing at the age of 5‼️‼️ The future looks great for all the sons and daughters and grandkids of Oliver ‼️‼️‼️❤️😊

Lil Dot is a very outgoing girl and loves to hunt or just hang out with me. Very good disposition. Very easy to train and handle. Lil Dot's is OFA certified hips and elbows good. PFK clear and PRA clear.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1), Phosphofructokinase Deficiency (PFK)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
