I'm Alex S., the breeder behind Fur-Ever Friends located in City Of Orange, NJ. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I purchased a dog for my wife and just caring for it while it was so little I was just so amazed at watching it grow ☺️.. so me and my wife decided to purchase a same breed dog to make others smile.. that was our mission 5 years ago and we accomplished it so now we are top tier breeders in New Jersey

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Silky Terrier puppies are silver black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alex

Alex has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alex partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Alex may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    I had gone through mourning the death of my Silky Terrier, AJ. He was my 3rd Silky Terrier. My husband and I were so lost without him. We decided that we would like to get another Silky Terrier. I was looking on the Internet for Silky Terrier Breeders. Fur-Ever Friends and Good Dog popped up showing the most adorable Silky Puppies. I was so happy that they were available. I completed an application and Alex was in touch with me a few minutes later. He sent photos and Videos of the puppies. He played with them and sang to them. Alex had created such a friendly and happy atmosphere for the puppies. It was so nice to see some of his older Silky Terriers especially Rosie and Roxie interacting with Alex, his Wife and the puppies. At least I know that my Puppy, Sonny came from a great environment. Alex was easy to work with and kept in touch with me throughout the process. When we received our Puppy, Alex gave us a bag filled with food, toys, training pads and a puppy carrier. He has also given me all of the paperwork for Sonny’s Breeding and other information which I still have to go through. I know that Alex will be available to assist me if I have any questions. We received our puppy, Sonny yesterday. So far so good. Thank you Alex for this heart warming experience. ❤️💕🐾❤️💕
