    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    The entire experience with Furry Tail Doodles was exceptional. They are obviously very knowledgeable and caring breeders. They called and texted me regularly, including photos and videos, along with helpful advice, documents, and websites. It was great to meet them when picking up my puppy. He's a very healthy and happy boy. At 8 weeks they had already taught him some commands. Their children sprend time with the puppies which I think helps with socialization. I would highly recommend Furry Tail Doodles to anyone wanting a doodle puppy!
