I'm Misty S., the breeder behind GAMALA Farm & Kennels located in Shepherd, TX. Our dogs are known for their intelligence and health. We aim for good temperaments and conformation. Our dogs are registered with ASDR and some are AKC as well. All pups are socialized with adults (both men and women), young children, teens, and other animals from the moment they open their eyes.

Why did you start breeding?
Misty grew up raising/breeding dogs with her parents. She took on her uncle's bloodline of APBTs in 2005 before he passed. After Michael & Misty married, he learned to adapt! Ha! He loved animals, too! Together, they fell in love with little aussies (toy/mini), had a discussion with the kids, and so it began....What makes your program special?
In our program, we strive to raise unique & happy dogs that can go to show, pet, or even working homes (depending on the pup). We strive to stay available to those who take our puppies home for any questions or even just for updates & funny stories!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Misty
Misty has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Misty partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"Price includes first set of vaccines, nano chip, 30 days pet health insurance, contract, & puppy gift pack. Litters are reg ASDR. Prices are pet only. Breeding rights are negotiable to select homes. Deposit holds the puppy. Total is due at 8wk pickup unless other arrangements are made."

About Cookie
Cookie is my grandbaby's bestie! She's highly food motivated so she knows tricks! She is very spoiled and knows it. We love her thick structure and perfect face. While she is a small mini in size, she comes from toy sized parents. Everyone has been super excited for Cookie to have puppies, especially my youngest daughter (whose bed she hogs). She has my favorite coat of all my females. She does get a little jealous when others hug. We just adore her! Her parents have tested clear other than her mother having 1 copy of MDR1 (common in herding breeds). We will be testing Cookie as well! She is NAD clear.

About Raven
Raven is the most obedient dog I've ever owned. She is "all up in your business" and wants to be with us everywhere. She turns heads with her eyes and markings, not to mention how she's just naturally intelligent & obedient. She's the sweetest dog with lots of energy!

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I really could not have asked for a better experience when it came to working with Misty. From the very beginning she was so helpful, answered all of our million questions, sent us a ton of photos and was soo nice. Our red merle Aussie was so well taken care of, got all of her shots and is perfectly healthy. If we ever decide we want another one or have friends/family want an Aussie she will be our first call!!

+5Misty walked me through every single step from my initial interest in "Vinnie Paul" (now Ajax) to picking him up & beyond. Her vaccine schedule kept my baby safe & the deworming protocol is amazing as well! Ajax's first vet visit came with a clean bill of health with no parasites seen. She really knows about the lineage of each puppy & provides DNA/health certificates of the parent(s) in her possession along with the new puppy's ASDR registration form. The first 30 days of pet insurance is great, too! I have yet to take advantage of the training resources provided, but I'm sure that will be great as well.
