Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica R., the breeder behind Gee Dog's - Dachshunds & Bernedoodles located in Longview, TX. Gee Dog's Kennels is a family-run dachshund breeder focused on raising healthy, happy, well-socialized puppies. Our dogs are family, and each puppy is raised with daily love, handling, and care to prepare them for a confident transition into their forever home.

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

My dachshund Bella got me into breeding. She has the best temperament of any dog I had before, and after health testing we decided to breed her to preserve her temperament in the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We are very small and the quality of our dog’s lives matter above all else. They are raised in our home with our children and are well socialized with others as well.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Dachshund puppies include smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include black and white, tri-color, and merle. Dachshund puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
