Meet the breeder

I'm Tamara S., the breeder behind Genesis Standard Schnauzers located in Schertz, TX. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! It’s been such a pleasure to be able to watch every stage of puppy life! We’re so lucky to be able to do this and match wonderful families with our perfect puppies.

Q. & A. with Tamara

  • Why did you start breeding?

After accomplishing my first AKC Championship (Giant Schnauzer) I then decided to breed her for her first and only litter.
  • What makes your program special?

I raise all of my litters inside a designated bedroom inside my home. This allows me to keep a close eye on them and to raise them surrounded in a loving, safe and healthy environment. It's my earnest effort to raise balanced and healthy litters. I feed a raw diet (for adults and pups) mixed with high quality kibble and provide supplements according to their age. If there was an afterlife, I'd want to come back as one of MY dogs!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
