I'm Jade I., the breeder behind Gentle Giant Companions located in Bay Shore, NY. We are a small-scale breeding program with health tested, high-quality Great Danes. Our dogs are beautiful, well-tempered, and loved! Our puppies are raised with love in our home. We strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy.

Q. & A. with Jade

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family has owned the Great Dane breed for over 20 years. I knew I always wanted to work with animals. In 2021, when the opportunity arose, I started my breeding career; falling ever more in love with the 'Gentle Giants' of the dog world.
  • What makes your program special?

I use quality, health tested dogs in my program. I do DNA as well as OFA testing to make decisions on pairings in my program.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
