I'm Frances A., the breeder behind German Shepherds of Virginia located in Near Richmond, VA. Puppies are temperament tested and parents are health tested and are genetically tested to make sure they are clear of any future issues. My puppy program revolves around creating the most sound animal for whatever your purpose is from birth. Puppies are exposed to a number of environmental stimuli. All puppies receive age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, are microchipped, AKC registerable and approved to carefully screened homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After researching German Shepherds for the past 6 years and how the pedigrees effect the abilities of a working line shepherd I decided to spend time producing and enhancing the line.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a small breeder and will only have 1 - 2 litters per year. I enjoy my dogs and plan on producing litters which will give future owners the comfort knowing that the parents are healthy, temperamentally sound and are awesome dogs! I am an AKC Breeder with H.E.A.R.T.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include plush and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
