I'm Tasha G., the breeder behind Ghibli Poodles located in Archbold, OH. Here at Ghibli Poodles, Our goal is to produce outstanding, versatile, and healthy standard poodles to represent the breed we love. We raise our puppies with the Puppy Culture program to ensure well-socialized puppies. I do not check this site much; please contact me via email.

Why did you start breeding?
Three years ago when our two adopted Standard Poodles passed away from preventable, genetic diseases, we decided our next would come from a responsible breeder. We met two amazing local breeders who entrusted us with their puppies. After that, we were hooked!What makes your program special?
My dogs prove their capability and versatility with an abundance of performance titles. The dogs in my program hold 150+ titles between them, with many more performance goals ahead. We also are proud members of BetterBred, utilizing their software to create the best matches to increase health and longevity in the breed.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, red, silver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Dentition
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
