Q. & A. with Beverly Jo
Why did you start breeding?
After getting our first Giant, we decided that we wanted to see the breed improved upon by proper breeding and began to search for the special dogs and bitches to breed to. Each litter is hand selected by pedigree and breed standard. We do all necessary medical testing including (as puppies)temperament testing.
What makes your program special?
We research every potential pedigree of dogs and bitches to be bred and verify the complements each would give each other in their offspring. At Giant Strides Giants all dog MUST be thoroughly medical tested to our standards and must have a CHIC number on file. We welcome potential buyers to our home to meet the parents and spend time with the puppies to verify which would be the best fit for your family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
