I'm Barbara S., the breeder behind Gingersnap Pembroke Welsh Corgis located in Shelton, WA. All of our babies are raised in our home where they are thoroughly socialized and shown lots of love and affection! Our puppies are the stars of the show at our house. We love them and they play with our 6 other adult Corgis along with 3 cats. We raise them in our living area so they are used to the sounds and movement of people. They come to you pre-spoiled!

Why did you start breeding?
When I was 33, I wanted a specific breed and there was no internet to aid my search. It took research and many phone calls to locate a breeder I could trust. After my years of searching, I knew I could do a better job of raising puppies for family pets. I had no desire to raise show dogs, just loving family pets free of health issues.What makes your program special?
Gingersnap puppies come from our well-loved pets. Born and raised in our home, they spend their first 10+ weeks with us inside, socializing and being well-loved.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Barbara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the first set of shots, a health guarantee, and a clear veterinarian check. Lifetime breeder support. Shipping is available at an additional cost. We take a deposit to hold your chosen puppy in your name. All research must be done and a veterinarian checkup set for the 7 days following pick up. Be very sure about it, as there are no refunds.”

Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
