I'm Laura, Brigette, & Chanel L., the breeder behind Glade Mill Sporting & Hound located in Pittsburgh, PA. We're a family hobby kennel located in southwestern Pennsylvania. We strive to improve our breeds by producing puppies that exemplify their breed standards. Although our pups are bred to excel in conformation and fieldwork, they are first and foremost excellent companions. More info on our site!
Q. & A. with Laura, Brigette, & Chanel
Why did you start breeding?
We began in Vizslas in 1999, with Glade Mill Honey. Honey became the foundation on which Glade Mill Vizslas began. She, as well as our sweet "Sagebrush", gave us the most charming introduction to the breed.
Our venture into Beagles began in 2004 with "Sierra", and the breed has become an essential part of our hearts ever since.
What makes your program special?
We are family-based; consisting of Laura, and her two daughters, Brigette and Chanel. Together we each provide a unique opinion, that allows us to make the most informed decisions regarding breeding the healthiest, happiest dogs. Laura is has been involved in veterinary medicine for over 18 years, allowing our dogs to have constant access to care and socialization.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
