I'm Tracy U., the breeder behind Glenmac Goldens located in Chico, CA. Our Golden Retrievers ae raised with intention, heart, and a lifelong commitment to excellence. What sets our breeding apart is the balance between science and soul -- we blend responsible genetics, sound structure, and proven temperaments with daily hands-on love and socialization.
Q. & A. with Tracy
Why did you start breeding?
At the request of a friend, I went along to help her select her first Golden Retriever. She was getting her new puppy from a college friend who had been breeding Goldens for years. I wound up buying our Cydney who became the foundation for Glenmac Goldens.
What makes your program special?
From day one, every puppy is raised in our home as part of our family-not in kennels. They are exposed to household sounds, people of all ages, and gentle early-neurological stimulation. Each litter is thoughtfully planned, pairing health-tested parents with outstanding pedigrees that reflect the classic Golden Retriever temperament: intelligent, affectionate, eager to please and steady-minded.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
