Meet the breeder

I'm Gail S., the breeder behind Gold Coast Corgis located in Okeechobee, FL. Gold Coast Corgis is dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized corgis with exceptional temperaments. Puppies are raised in a loving environment with early socialization to ensure they transition seamlessly into family life and become loyal, well-adjusted companions.

Q. & A. with Gail

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after my daughter introduced me to her first corgi and I quickly fell in love with the breed. Their personalities, intelligence, and loyalty made a lasting impression, and what started as admiration grew into a passion for raising well-socialized, healthy corgis for other families to enjoy.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program special is the amount of time and attention each puppy receives. Being retired allows me to be home every day, so the puppies are raised in a hands-on environment with constant interaction, early socialization, and daily care, helping them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include white and fawn, fawn, red, sable, white and black, blue, white and red, and black and tan. American Corgi puppies include fawn merle, fawn and white, sable and white, sable, red, sable merle and white, red merle and white, red and white, gray and white, fawn, blue merle and white, black and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Gail! She was very supportive, patient, and thorough when answering all of my questions. She allowed us to meet the puppies before putting down a deposit and explained their care and the type of food they were eating. We originally applied for one puppy, but after meeting both females, we completely fell in love with them and ended up submitting a second application. Gail was very considerate and understanding throughout the process. After the deposit, she continued to keep us updated with pictures and videos of the puppies, including their walks. Overall, the experience was wonderful, and Gail was incredibly patient with us throughout the process, especially when we drove down to pick up our puppies. We are so grateful to have brought home Bambi and Luna. We couldn’t be happier! ❤️

Gail was very pleasant to work with, willing to travel to meet me half way to pick up Asher. Asher is settling nicely, loves playing with my big dog and chasing the cats.

Gail was very responsive. I asked for updated pic and she sent me a video of my puppy. It was such an easy and rewarding experience working with her. Pickup was a breeze and she was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Would definitely refer for anyone in the Corgi market, I am extremely satisfied with the whole experience!
