Gold Country Pups

Lauren M.

Breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Lauren M., the breeder behind Gold Country Pups located in Placerville, CA. We love Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We love them so much we made it our mission to make them available to you. Our puppies are raised with love and care befitting the gentle nature of these sweet animals. All of our dogs are screened for genetic health defects and are truly cared for.

Q. & A. with Lauren

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents bred Miniature Schnauzers when I was younger. I like the idea of getting to raise adorable little puppies and make sure that they go to the best of homes, and not left on the street or in a shelter.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are inside our home with us all the time. They are never left alone. They get a lot of love, affection, and are spoiled rotten. We test all of our dogs thoroughly to ensure we don’t bring unhealthy pups into the world and we give a year-long health guarantee for all genetic defects for all of our puppies.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
