I'm Konrad M., the breeder behind Golden Acres LLC located in Magnolia, TX. We have carefully selected to breed dogs that have a long family line of field experience. The sire and dam are both in excellent health, and have passed their clearances. They both are intelligent and attentive in the field and remarkably tolerant in the home- they are toddler approved!

Why did you start breeding?
We decided to get into breeding since our girl, Heidi, has such an amazing bloodline and has proven to be an excellent companion in the field and home. We train dogs. People kept bringing their dogs to us, hoping we could train them to be attentive in the field. None of the dogs that were brought to us had a lick of sense or drive when it came to the field.What makes your program special?
We have carefully chosen dogs with an extensive family tree in hunting and field. Our female is raised and cared for in our home. The puppies are whelped in our home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"This price includes up to date vaccinations, deworming, new puppy package (and AKC registration kit), microchip, quality food, and mental stimulation. Deposit will fully go toward the final price of your puppy, we just want to make sure that each pup has a pre-approved family that it's going to!"

About Heidi
Heidi is a female Golden Retriever. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Konrad decided to make her part of their program. Konrad has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
