I'm Candra B., the breeder behind Golden Breed located in Stratford, OK. We responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise. Puppies are introduced to designated potty area while here with us.

Candra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $150 non-refundable deposit and $2,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Golden Breed reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Golden Retrievers.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Candra was amazing to work with! She was always so quick to respond and easy to coordinate with! We are lucky enough to live within a reasonable driving distance and were able to visit the pups around 5 weeks and pick out our sweet pup, Brooks! When we picked him up, Candra had all of his papers and vaccine info organized which made his first vet visit a breeze. Brooks is the sweetest little guy growing faster than we can blink and is so smart! It is very clear that he came from a loving home and this has made the transition into our home seamless. I cannot recommend Golden Breed more!

My husband and I were tired of having the house be so quiet when one of us was working. We always knew we wanted a golden retriever. I fell across Candra’s profile and found our perfect match.
