I'm Kate and Jen M., the breeder behind Golden Girls Kennels, LLC located in Fort Morgan, CO. We are Golden Retriever lovers through and through! Our dogs are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with Golden Retriever puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always had a love a dogs so I decided to breed dogs that have passed all their health clearances so they would live longer.
  • What makes your program special?

    I do more health clearances that any breeder in the US, Canada or Europe. We are Colorados oldest Golden Retriever breeder.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,350 - $3,550 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
