I'm V O., the breeder behind Golden Glen Havanese located in Walpole, MA. Havanese are such a wonderful breed of dog. They are wonderful companionship dogs who are smart and happy by nature. They originally were circus dogs from Cuba as they love everyone and other animals and can definitely make people smile. Our puppies become integral members of our family.

I believe what makes us special is that our puppies are literally raised in out living room with their parents and that we are a small breeder who mainly just breed to local families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate, black, silver brindle, silver sable, red sable, red brindle, gold sable, gold brindle, fawn sable, fawn, chocolate sable, black brindle, black and tan, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
