I'm Tina & Randy L., the breeder behind Golden Hearts Ranch English Cream Retrievers located in Galt, CA. We breed puppies with lots of tender Loving care. We Love our dogs like family. So, we strive to provide the best of care, best of food, Vet care & up to date vaccinations for high-quality puppies. We focus on Health, Temperament, ENS, Avidog & a lot of time for great puppies!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have dreamed of breeding dogs all of my life. When I was a child, our family would nurse hurt animals back to health and help lost dogs find their homes. I wished and prayed for all lost dogs to find their homes again.

  • What makes your program special?

    We pride ourselves on providing an abundance of Love, Affection, health testing, pedigree evaluation (COI). We feed our mom high quality dog food w/omega 6 fatty acids for pup increased trainability. We keep whelping box warm for digestion/immune system function. At birth we carefully, gently hold & kiss every day+. ENS & Avidog for smarter healthier pups. Trim nails, bathe, car rides, leash walk

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tina & Randy

Tina & Randy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Tina & Randy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Temperament Test, Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Tina and Randy are amazing breeders! I highly recommend them. The care nourishment and love they give the puppies is really touching. They invest in their development from day one exposing them to different things so when you receive your puppy they are already accustomed to many things. They were so flexible with us in terms of coordination of logistics they us pick up the puppy later and refused to be paid for the extra time. The supplied us with so many extra helpful items when we picked our puppy up. One can see its a labor of love for them.     I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Tina and Randy!     Competent, caring, complete. Tina and Randy are true gems. They absolutely love what they do and they do it well. I could not recommend them any higher! If you want a beautiful cream colored, AKC, Golden Retriever pup, do not pass go, put your deposit down for an upcoming liter. Through the whole process, they communicated, kept us up to date, and answered any questions. When it was time to pick up our beautiful Blondie, they sent us home with a puppy pack, all records, which included linage from both sire and damn, tips on training, the first set of shots, her chipped info. and the first month of pet insurance.     We brought home our female English Cream Golden Retriever, Olive, from Tina & Randy at Golden Hearts Ranch in August 2025, and the experience has been absolutely wonderful. From the start, Tina & Randy’s knowledge and care for the breed really stood out. They provided detailed health information and DNA results from the parents, and Olive came microchipped and already started on her vaccines before we picked her up, which gave us so much peace of mind. Throughout the process, they were incredibly responsive on the app, answering every question we had quickly and thoroughly. Their communication made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. Since coming home, Olive has been a dream! She has slept through the night from the start, is already responding well to training, and after just one week is doing great with potty training.
