I'm Tina & Randy L., the breeder behind Golden Hearts Ranch English Cream Retrievers located in Galt, CA. We breed puppies with lots of tender Loving care. We Love our dogs like family. So, we strive to provide the best of care, best of food, Vet care & up to date vaccinations for high-quality puppies. We focus on Health, Temperament, ENS, Avidog & a lot of time for great puppies!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have dreamed of breeding dogs all of my life. When I was a child, our family would nurse hurt animals back to health and help lost dogs find their homes. I wished and prayed for all lost dogs to find their homes again.

  • What makes your program special?

    We pride ourselves on providing an abundance of Love, Affection, health testing, pedigree evaluation (COI). We feed our mom high quality dog food w/omega 6 fatty acids for pup increased trainability. We keep whelping box warm for digestion/immune system function. At birth we carefully, gently hold & kiss every day+. ENS & Avidog for smarter healthier pups. Trim nails, bathe, car rides, leash walk

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Temperament Test, Brucellosis, Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Tina and Randy were very responsive and a joy to deal with throughout the whole process.
