I'm Rebecca B., the breeder behind Golden Mesa Doodles located in Golden, CO. Golden Mesa Doodles is a small, family-based Goldendoodle breeder dedicated to raising healthy, happy puppies in a loving home. We are a neurodivergent family of four, including a geneticist and a physical therapist, along with our two children (ages 11 and 13). Our background in genetics and physical well-being strongly influences how we approach breeding, puppy development, and early care. Our two adult Goldendoodles are beloved family dogs, and their current litter of nine puppies is being raised in our home with daily handling, early socialization, and age-appropriate enrichment. Our puppies are exposed to normal household sounds, children, and positive human interaction to help build confident, well-adjusted temperaments. At Golden Mesa Doodles, we prioritize: Health-focused, intentional breeding Early socialization and gentle handling Raising puppies as part of the family, not in kennels Our goal is to thoughtfully match each puppy with a loving, responsible forever home and support families as they welcome a new companion.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My grandmother raised dogs as the primary breadwinner in the 60s & 70s and some of my aunts and cousins have as well. I wanted to show my kids birth and raising puppies, and honor her legacy as well. My kids also struggle with anxiety and depression and having the puppies around has made our house so joyful!

  • What makes your program special?

    I've done the genetics myself, I will only breed dogs I like and think deserve to pass on their genetics. Chewbacca and Daisy are definitely worthy!!! Our youngest child slept in the same room with Daisy and the puppies for the first 6 weeks, we know these puppies' personalities inside and out to recommend the best dog for your family.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rebecca partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    A few weeks ago, the most amazing puppy came into our lives. Aribella/Belle has been an amazing addition to our family… She is mellow, yet full of “puppy-vigor,” absolutely beautiful, and extremely smart. She has already learned to sit, is leash trained, and is doing well with potty-training too! Rebecca was very responsive to my inquiries, kept in solid touch with me with updates until “go home” day arrived, did a phenomenal job with temperament-matching my family to Belle, and even sent a few extra photos and videos when my son (age 13) was having a hard time waiting the few weeks remaining before we took Belle home. The puppy we brought into our family has been so loved-on by everyone from the neighborhood kids to the techs at the vet office. She has slept through the night in her crate since day one, and I can’t get over how bright and how affectionate she is. Simply put, Belle has been a perfect addition to our family. You can tell that she was bred and raised with care, and I can’t imagine our family without her. I truly cannot recommend her breeder, Rebecca Brentin, more highly. (And Belle agrees, with tail wags that make her whole body wiggle!)

    Rebecca was wonderful to work with towards finding our puppy Milo! From when I first started inquiring about her litters to finally bringing our little guy home, she was easy to communicate with and flexible. She helped us arrange two different times to meet the litters prior to choosing our puppy. We also had to delay pick up time by a day due to a delayed flight. This wasn’t a problem. She was flexible and open to the new date of pick up. Our puppy Milo was essentially night potty trained from the start! He is incredibly smart and well socialized. Milo enjoys being around lots of kids! He’s not bothered by noise and is highly trainable. We are overjoyed with our puppy choice and whole heartedly recommend Rebecca and Golden Mesa Doodles!

    Rebecca was amazing throughout the entire process. She was so welcoming every visit and it’s very clear how much she cares about these puppies. We were sent regular updates and it was so fun to see our pup grow. Even after bringing him home we’re seeing the effect of what a great job she did. She started potty training, crate training, bringing him on car rides, he was very well handled and interacted with, and she was so accommodating with us visiting before bringing him home. The whole experience has made the transition bringing our puppy home much easier and we are extremely grateful to have gotten our cuddly, goofy little pup from such a great breeder. Can’t recommend enough!
