Why did you start breeding?
Raising my first puppy made me realize how much I loved caring for dogs. As I learned more about golden retrievers and their traits, my interest in the breed grew. I eventually decided that breeding golden retrievers would be a great way to share my passion and help the pet community.What makes your program special?
My breeding program focuses on ethical and responsible practices, always putting the health of our dogs first and providing them with the best care. We incorporate ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) to help our puppies grow into well-rounded, confident dogs. I’m also committed to educating potential owners and making sure each puppy finds a loving home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Program update on 09 June 2025 •…Program Update: We’re excited to share that our Bred with H.E.A.R.T. certification has been renewed. This means a lot to us, because it reflects how seriously we take the health of our moms and puppies. As part of the program, we stay up to date with breeder education and make sure our dams are health tested and recertified every year. This helps us ensure we’re not passing along any genetic or hereditary conditions to our puppies. We care deeply about doing things the right way and we’re always working to meet both the Golden Retriever breed standard and the expectations of the families who trust us.

Program update on 09 June 2025 •…Program Update: We’re excited to share that we’ll be breeding Penny again soon. This will be a very special litter, as it may be her last. We’re planning to retire Penny after this and hope to keep a female puppy from the pairing with a carefully chosen, exceptional stud. Penny is truly the smartest Golden I’ve ever had, and her puppies have proven themselves in incredible ways. Many have gone on to become successful service dogs and search and rescue partners. They thrive in active, working homes and have a natural drive to learn and help. If you’ve been waiting for a Penny puppy, this might be your last chance to bring one home. As always, thank you to our amazing families who have welcomed one of our puppies into their lives. We’re so grateful for each of you and proud to have you as part of the Golden Penny family.

Litter update on 05 Mar 2025 •…I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my families who have welcomed home or are in the process of welcoming home one of our puppies. I pour my heart and soul into raising our moms and their puppies, making sure they are loved, healthy, and well-socialized before they go to their forever homes. It means so much to me to have your trust and support throughout this journey, and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for giving our puppies the love and care they deserve!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
