I'm Gloria K., the breeder behind Golden Retrievers of GwynEira located in Olympia, WA. Our dogs and pups are raised in our home and are loved as family. We strive to produce high-quality show prospects and companions. What makes your program special?
Puppies are raised the Avidog way.Exposed to ENS, ESI. Exposed daily with a new challenge (new sounds(like fireworks), new smell, new toy, problem solving,etc). Trained on recall with a retriever whistle and to sit if asking for something. House training starts at 2 weeks old using wood pellets on potty trays which they use relatively reliable at age 6 weeks and onward.

Trixie came to us from Germany and is cream colored. She has achieved her Champion title with ease and enjoyed every minute of it. Trixie is born to work and please her owner having fantastic biddability. She is an active and very smart girl who likes to be kept busy. She is very friendly to other dogs and children.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
