Meet the breeder

I'm Kristine S., the breeder behind Golden Sensation Kennel located in Orange, CA. Golden Sensation Kennel is a family-run devoted breeder of English Golden Retriever's providing healthy, well socialized puppies.

Q. & A. with Kristine

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have owned Golden Retrievers (GR) for 20 years. Our first 3 (Am lines) passed away young (enlarged heart/cancer). In 2014 we purchased a GR with imported bloodlines. He was really calm and healthy. We had family and friends that want a Jarvis puppy so we decided to import a quality female - took 2 years to find. We spent 3 years working on our breeding program before we had our first litter.
  • What makes your program special?

Health and soundness is our top priority. Our breeding dogs have had their hips/elbows/eyes/heart (ECHO) and DNA completed. Our dogs are part of our family & live in our home. Puppies are raised in our home and well socialized. We follow the week by week Puppy Culture protocol. Puppies are examined and vaccinated by our vet. We have a detailed contract with a 2-year health guarantee.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
