I'm Tyler N., the breeder behind Golden State Corgis located in Washington. All of our puppies undergo an early neurological stimulation program, scent association training, potty training, doggy door exposure, and crate training prior to leaving our home. We strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are family members first and foremost. We're passionate, responsible breeders who truly love our dogs.
Q. & A. with Tyler
Why did you start breeding?
Our love for Corgis inspired us to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. With that said, we do not breed our dams "forever" and do retire them to their forever homes. It's not worth breeding them their whole lives just so others can enjoy a piece of them, especially if their health is at risk. We take bringing life into this world seriously.
What makes your program special?
We are very selective about our breeding stock and genetically test them. The health and temperament of our puppies are our number one priority. We are very conscious about who purchases our puppies, always ensuring that they are given the best life possible. Corgis are such a joy, and we find so much fulfillment in raising and preparing them for their loving, forever homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
