Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Ricky was extremely responsive in the chat, and he did a 45-minute zoom call so I could ask questions and see how the dog behaved. He met me halfway and stayed at the site until the dog and I had gotten comfortable. Ricky was sweet, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. Kuzco is such a happy, healthy dog. It’s obvious he was raised wonderfully.

We could not be happier with Ricky and Goldendoodle by Design. We bought two puppies 2 years ago for our grandchildren for Christmas from Goldendoodle by design. They are the best dogs. The process was flawless and the support terrific. We decided to buy two puppies for ourselves and immediately sought out Goldendoodle by Design. We now have Rosie and Gus who are 12 weeks old. They are crate trained, leash trained and almost house broken. They are the sweetest puppies. Ricky provided much support throughout the process.

We have a 6 year old daughter, who we promised a Goldendoodle puppy. She is very nervous around all dog’s exception being a therapy dog at her school, which was a full-size Goldendoodle. We knew as a family we did not want an 80-90 lb. dog, so got excited too learn we could get a Goldendoodle miniature in the 30-35 lb range. Using that as our search criteria we found Goldendoodle By Design breeder. Being mostly uninformed of the breed, the breeder, Ricky, was super helpful. I know he had to answer some of our questions more than once. His puppy was 7 months old, which is exactly what we were looking for as we wanted to avoid that period when puppies bowels know no bounds. We stressed to Ricky that we wanted a female and gently puppy. He assured us that of his three available puppies, she was the sweetest. Working with Ricky on every detail, from food to crates, we finally made a date to get new family member. She is perfect for our daughter. It has taken some adjustment and she come a long way in last 30 days. In closing Ricky did and honored everything he said he would do. The puppy was exactly as he said. In fact when we met halfway to pick her up, he said if we were not happy then we did not have to take her. Though we did not use that card, the fact he was so confident that we would like her speaks volumes about Ricky as a man and breeder. As a result of al or experiences with this breeder, Ricky deserves the 5 stars we gave him.

Rio is doing great. He gets hauled around by the boys and never complains. He loves to play outside and is learning to walk on a leash. He is very affectionate, but skittish about anything new. Ricky was great, offering suggestions and very supportive.
