I'm Margaret W., the breeder behind Goldens on Main located in Oak Hill, WV. Our dogs live their comfortable lives in the hills and hollers. We are located right next to the New River Gorge and our dogs have plenty of room to run and play on the beautiful trails hidden in the hills. We also have the paw-some dog parks right in town and a new one already being built. We are passionate about Golden Retrievers and look forward to sharing the breed with others who love it just as much as we do!

Why did you start breeding?
In 2019, I started my journey into Golden Retrievers with my only girl, Theodora (Teddy). I truly love this breed; they are friendly, eager to please, protective, and intuitive. These are only some of the best qualities of Goldens. I can honestly say Teddy is my best friend and exemplifies these qualities. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups.What makes your program special?
Our program is special because we work to get the best possible results. Our dogs are happy, healthy, and well socialized. We do all health clearances possible, and we work with trainers to make effective learning guides to ensure that both the owner and puppy have the best start to their new adventure. These puppies will be raised in our home where they will be truly loved and cared for. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
