I'm Leslie L., the breeder behind Goldenway Goldens located in Malboro, NJ. We strive to breed and show only the highest quality AKC registered Golden Retrievers. Our aim is to keep the Golden as true to standard as possible while doing our best to improve the health and well being of the breed. Our puppies make wonderful pets as well as great conformation, obedience, and agility dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed to produce quality Golden Retrievers that conform to the breed standard, are intelligent, and have the natural hunting, retrieving, and swimming instincts Goldens were bred to possess. I give priority to breeding for health. Temperament is my top priority, and I strive to breed only Goldens that will make wonderful house dogs that are friendly toward all people and other dogs. I also focus on doing all I can to produce physically and mentally sound dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
