I'm committed to producing healthy, happy Retriever puppies, and I do everything I can to prepare them for their forever families. My goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from my program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves my care.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Dogs have been a big part of my life since I was a child. I got my first show puppy, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and showed her to her championship. I raised 2 litters from her and that was the start of it all!

  • What makes your program special?

    I have always felt that being a breeder is a great responsibility and if someone is going to breed it should be done with knowledge and great care. Quality breeding dogs and pedigrees, proper health care and very importantly, puppies raised in the house for constant attention, love and socializing.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Janice

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes first vaccination, microchip, deworming, Vet Check before going home, AKC limited registration, guarantee....and PUPPY! We begin accepting deposits after the puppies are born and we know how many we have, and sexes. Deposits are non-refundable after the puppies are 6 weeks old, unless the breeder is unable for some reason to provide the puppy to the Buyer.”

Janice may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
