Karen W.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Karen W., the breeder behind GoldWynns English Cream Golden Retrievers located in Henderson County, KY. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. We prepare all of my pups to thrive in their new forever homes! We breed Golden Retrievers that are structurally correct, have amazing temperaments, and are well-rounded, healthy and beautiful dogs.

Q. & A. with Karen

  • Why did you start breeding?

We raised and bred Rotweiller's for over twenty years. After a move and retiring from breeding, we really missed that aspect of our lives. We began visiting kennels and saw our first English Cream Golden Retriever and from then on we were hooked. Golden Retrievers are beautiful, smart, friendly, loyal, love kids and other animals, and docile. I got my first boy, Traveller from Europe and showed him to his Championship and then others followed. We are hooked on Goldens for life and hope you will be too!
  • What makes your program special?

GoldWynns has won awards and accolades as the best English Cream Golden Retriever Breeder. Above all we have left a mark in many people’s hearts. We have placed many puppies with those who endured a long search for the perfect family. Our dedication, experience, and the love for the Golden Retrievers has grown and blossomed our journey as breeders. W are guided by the breed standard and quality and constantly in search of increasing our knowledge of the breed. We want to ensure that our pups improve and give families that special puppy they need and want.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
