Q. & A. with Angel
Why did you start breeding?
I’ve had Akita’s since I was a kid. Years ago I began to study the breed and my passion expanded to wanting to have and produce dogs that meet the breed standard, ensuring that responsible pet owners will have an akita with a good temperament, clear of hereditary diseases, and a loyal companion. My goal was/is to produce dogs that exceed the breed standard. For me, breeding is not a business.
What makes your program special?
Before every breeding, our dogs are health OFA tested. We also participate in AKC confirmation events where they earn their championship titles. I want to ensure that my pet parents go home with not only a healthy puppy, but that they are filled with information on how to properly care for the breed and make their journey with their Akita loving and memorable.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
