Meet the breeder

I'm Amy P., the breeder behind Good Dog Danes located in Reno, NV. Our dogs are bred for health, great temperaments. We strive to offer puppies that are well rounded, happy and loved from the moment they were born. Our dogs mean the world to us, we want nothing more than for them to mean the same to you!

Q. & A. with Amy

  • Why did you start breeding?

Dogs hold a very special part of my soul. Great Danes particularly have my heart! After my first Great Dane I witnessed many terrible breeding programs and how they didn’t care about their dogs, nor the families adopting a puppy. I vow to change that and offer healthy, socialized, happy puppies. I care deeply for my dogs and all the pups that we produce.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are part of our family. We do life together, along side our children. My puppies are raised indoors as part of our daily lives. I don’t have multiple litters a year, allowing me to pour plenty of time and energy into each puppy born here. Our puppies are very well started on potty training, crate training and sitting.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chocolate, fawn, blue, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
