One of our favorite confidence-building exercises: the disc swing. It looks like play (because it is), but there’s a bigger purpose behind it. This gentle, controlled movement helps puppies learn how their bodies move through space. By introducing motion early — in a safe, positive way — we’re helping their brains and inner ears develop balance and coordination. That translates directly to smoother transitions later… including car rides with less stress and less motion sickness. Instead of their first big car trip being a shock, their nervous system already says, “Oh, I know this feeling.” Calmer puppies. Happier families. Fewer laundry emergencies on the drive home 😉 This is just one small piece of how we intentionally raise confident, adaptable pups from the very beginning.

“Wiggle board play → wiggle board naps 💤 The gentle movement helps puppies develop balance, body awareness, and vestibular strength. Early exposure like this helps set them up to handle motion—making car rides and new experiences easier later on.”

Balancing toys are great For the puppies to play on because it helps with car sickness in puppies. If they learn how to balance themselves, they won’t get carsick.

✨ Sensory play in session! We’ve added hanging dangle toys right in the middle of the pen—so the puppies learn to look up, brush against things, and get used to squeaky surprises and silly sounds. Nothing phases them! They explore for about 20 minutes… then it always ends the same way: one big cozy puppy pile. 🐾💤

Litter Training Update – June 8, 2025 Yesterday’s focus was all about patience and manners! We spent time helping the puppies learn to sit calmly and wait for their turn to receive a treat. Each puppy practiced opening their mouth gently to accept the treat and learning that polite behavior—like sitting still instead of jumping—is what earns the reward. It’s amazing to see how quickly they’re understanding that patience pays off!

Puppies have figured out how to go through single and double dog doors to get to the inside.

She has blue eyes! Now we wait to see if they will stay blue.

About Lacee
Lacey is a petite Cavapoo, normally around 16 pounds, with the softest peach spotting that gives her such a gentle, classic look. She has a deeply affectionate nature and a heart that belongs entirely to John—wherever he goes, Lacey wants to be right there with him. She’s a true car-ride girl, happiest when she’s settled in the seat beside him, content just being close. Lacey has a calm, loving presence and an intuitive sweetness that shines through in her puppies. Her litters are known for producing exceptionally intelligent, easy-to-train puppies with kind, people-focused temperaments. They tend to be affectionate without being needy, thoughtful, gentle, and naturally connected to their humans. Lacey brings together companionship, softness, and quiet devotion—traits she consistently passes on to her puppies, making them wonderful family dogs and lifelong companions.

About Rhodie
Rhodie is a beloved part of our family and also serves as my daughter-in-law’s trained service dog. True to her gentle, intuitive nature, she brings calm, connection, and affection everywhere she goes. Rhodie is incredibly loving and attentive, and she naturally extends that care to everyone in the household — both two-legged and four-legged. A daughter of our wonderful Phoebe, Rhodie carries forward her mother’s loyal, people-oriented temperament. This is Rhodie’s very first litter, and she has stepped into motherhood with exceptional grace. She keeps her whelping pen spotless, stays close to her babies, and makes sure every puppy is well-fed and content. Watching her instincts shine has been a joy. Rhodie embodies everything we value in our program: emotional intelligence, a nurturing spirit, and a deep desire to bond with her people. Her puppies are already showing signs of the same tender, connected temperament she so naturally offers.

Brenda has been wonderful to work with. She is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions in a timely manner. Our puppy was so well adjusted when we picked her up. Our puppy is great for our family with kids, she is playful and cuddly. The transition home was smooth. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is good at letting us know when she needs to outside for potty. It has been easy to socialize our puppy too. I have been so impressed with how Brenda has prepared her puppies for their forever homes. I so appreciated the puppy cam to watch our pup grow before it was time to bring her home. I can not say enough good things. We love our golden mountain doodle, Bella.

Brenda was very responsive and so easy to work with. She provided timely answers to all of our questions, photos as we progressed from reservation through puppy pickup day and always made us feel welcome. Our new addition has been so great with our family and is exactly the dog we were looking for and she made it so easy to pick her up. Thank you Brenda.

Brenda was great through the entire experience! I met my new pup and needed a couple weeks before I could take him home. Brenda was happy to keep him for me. She answered all me questions and I got to hang out with him for over an hour on our first visit. She met me at the airport with everything he needed too. Brenda was great and my new pup is great. He’s super laid back back and very sweet but also a playful pup. He handled the airport and crate very well. Brenda worked with him in the crate prior to drop off. She raises her pups with love and that is apparent! I would recommend her to anyone.

Brenda was one of the first breeders I came in contact here who was so transparent with everything, and quick to respond. She was open with sharing information, always open to answering any question I had. It was clear from the get go that she truly just wanted my puppy to go to a good home. The whole process from beginning to end made me feel confident in my choice.
