I'm Jessaca P., the breeder behind Good Shepherd Aussiedoodles located in Clara City, MN. I grew up showing and raising beautiful Australian shepherds (see Meljestic Farms, my family’s aussie breeding business!) I am a labor&delivery nurse and live with my husband on our farm. Our sweet dogs, Dutton and Dolly, bring us joy every day! Dolly is a wonderful mom & raises beautiful babies!
Q. & A. with Jessaca
Why did you start breeding?
My mom has responsibly raised beautiful Australian Shepherds for over 20 years; I got to learn from the best! I noticed the great care she took to keep her aussie genetics of the highest quality. When looking for an aussiedoodle puppy, I noticed that many doodle breeders were breeding dogs that did not represent either the poodle or Australian shepherd breed well. I wanted to do better!
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family. Dolly is our only breeding dog. She is bred by beautiful Major from neighboring Meljestic Aussies. We breed a F1B puppy back to aussie, this is unique and helps us capture our favorite aussie traits! Expect puppies that are healthy, athletic, smart, and personable!! We expect to produce blue-eyed tris, something seen in Aussies but rarely in other doodle programs!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Dolly
Dolly is our favorite little girl. She’s a total honey and a huge attention hog. She loves meeting new friends, going for walks, and snuggling with toddlers. She’s very obedient and super adorable. We get compliments on her everywhere we go! She does not shed, which makes her even better!
