I'm Kate G., the breeder behind Graceful Goldens located in Bedford, TX. Gracefulgoldens(dot)com. Reach out to me there. The gorgeous Golden Retriever, Daniel who won Best in Sport at the 2020 Westminster at Madison Square Garden is the father of our current litter with our sweet Holly. They will be ready to go home November 5.

Why did you start breeding?
Pets have always been a source of comfort, companionship, and unconditional love for me. My mom raised Champion German Shepherds so I was introduced to the breeding business as a child. I helped my mother in all aspects of her breeding program. I became disabled in 2015 and struggled with denial and depression. I decided to return to my breeding roots to find a rewarding and meaningful life.
What makes your program special?
In my opinion, the Golden Retriever sets the bar high for what a dog should be to a family. My goal is to breed high-quality, healthy, well-mannered, and gorgeous dogs that your family will love! Because this is my full-time hobby, I can put all of my time and energy into each puppy and be available to support families every step of the way in raising and caring for their puppy.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Holly
Holly is such a wonderful and calm dog. Her temperament is perfect. She’s also very sensitive to the elderly and young children. When greeting them she lays down to let them know that she’s safe to pet. As a mom, she’s very attentive to her babies and is very good at teaching them boundaries.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation , Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
